The TASCAM MX CONNECT is control software exclusively designed for system integrators/managers that allows system structuring and daily operation usage using the TASCAM MX-8A matrix mixer. Available free for Windows / macOS / Android / iOS devices.
New DEMO Mode Added
TASCAM MX CONNECT comes with a new DEMO Mode in which users are now able to try the app without connecting it to a real unit.
The functions available on the DEMO Mode are:
- Input module control
- Matrix mixer control
- Mix and output routing
- Output module control
- End-user
- dedicated software TASCAM EZ CONNECT system layout building
Program Wall-Mount External Controller Functions
Source selection, volume adjustment, and mute functions can be assigned to the encoder or switches equipped in the wall-mount programmable controllers RC-W100-R120 and RC-W100-R86. In addition, LCD display lighting time can be also programmed via TASCAM MX CONNECT.
* RC-W100-R120 and RC-W100-R86 are optional accessories, sold separately.
* The following updates are required to use "RC-W100".

Full Support for Daily Tasks
The TASCAM MX CONNECT software gives users full control of the MX-8A; from input/output configuration to mixing, routing, and digital signal processing functions. For event spaces or banquet rooms where switching routes or changing audio levels are part of the daily work, the control software allows input/output status monitoring, not to mention efficient configuration changes as well.
Remote Control From Various Places
Users can either use a wired connection with a LAN cable, or make the MX-8A and the TASCAM MX CONNECT share the same network for a wireless connection. Even with having the MX-8A on the backyard room or on the corner of the room won’t stop you from monitoring or controlling it, as long as they are within the same network.
It is also possible to control multiple MX-8A units all at once using the same network.
Compatible With Windows / mac OS / Android/ iOS Devices
TASCAM MX CONNECT works flexibly with Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices, including iPads and Android tablets, allowing users to check the actual sound level on the site and making fine adjustments.
Modify TASCAM EZ CONNECT End-User Control Software
The TASCAM MX CONNECT allows for the function and layout configuration of TASCAM EZ CONNECT, enabling simple volume adjustment and source selection functions for end-users to easily control TASCAM MX-8A.

- This app can now also be used with 64-bit Android devices.
- When trying to install this app anew on some devices, it would not appear on Google Play and installation would not be possible. This problem has been fixed.
- Operation stability has been improved.
- macOS Big Sur (10.16) is now supported.
- A CONTROLLER screen that enables setting the operations of TASCAM RC-W100 units has been added. (This can be used if the MX-8A firmware version is V1.10 or higher.)
- A master fader and mute have been added to the USB OUT on the MIXER screen. (This can be used if the MX-8A firmware version is V1.10 or higher.)
- Up to four groups can now be set for the group function, which enables the linking of channel faders movements and muting. (This can be used if the MX-8A firmware version is V1.10 or higher.)
- Characters for certain languages were shown incorrectly in iPadOS 13 and later. This is been fixed.
- The on-screen keyboards for certain languages could not be closed in iPadOS 13 and later. This is been fixed.
- Operation stability has been improved.
The dedicated APP『TASCAM MX CONNECT』is available for free download. The APP for iOS/Android is available on App Store/Google Play. For Windows/Mac, the APP can be downloaded from TASCAM website.
