Field Pack

The Field Pack matches TASCAM's best-selling DR-1 portable recorder with the TM-ST1 stereo microphone. The DR-1 includes its own microphones of course, a pair of condensers in A-B pattern for a natural recording pattern. It captures in MP3 or WAV format, 24-bit or 16-bit, and includes a 1GB SD Card to start recording right away. The DR-1 includes an Overdub mode with effects to record over your previous recording to make a complete production.

Adding the TM-ST1 gives added flexibility while recording to the DR-1. The mic can be placed in the perfect spot while the recorder stays near to press record. The Mid-side side of the TM-ST1 allows the stereo image to be widened, to capture more ambience or audience sound, or narrowed to reduce background noise. It plugs into the DR-1's 1/8" mic input - or any other recorder - for a detailed stereo sound with perfect mono compatibility.
