We design TASCAM products with you in mind. Ease-of-use and trouble-free installation are what we strive for. Of course, due to differences in computer systems, operating environments, and user experience level, that kind of lofty goal can be difficult to reach. If you're having trouble getting your TASCAM product to work properly, please take a few moments to read the troubleshooting tips below. You may be able to solve your problem without having to make a tech support call. Troubleshooting There are several ways for you to solve problems or answer questions that you might have while installing or operating your TASCAM product. Here are a few: 1) We know that you want to start using your TASCAM product as quickly as possible, but to avoid getting frustrated or possibly damaging your product, please read the manual. Believe it or not, most of the questions our customers have are answered in the manual. If you still can't find the answers to your questions after reading the manual, try these other resources. 2) Check this website for manuals, updated software drivers and other helpful documentation. The easiest way to find a solution to your problems is to go to the Product page using the Quick Product Finder located at the top left of this page: - Select your product from the "Select A Product" dropdown list at the top right of any page. (For older items, select "Legacy Products"). You will be taken to a page specific to that product. - Click the "Resources" tab for additional information, including applications guides, tutorials, and the latest software drivers (if your product uses them). If you don't have the latest driver, download it and install it following the directions that come with it, which are typically found in a "Read Me" file. You'll want to read this before installing any new driver or software to make sure you follow the procedure correctly. 3) If you still need help, and are a US customer, call the TASCAM Operational Support Specialists at 323-727-7617 (M-F, 8am-5pm Pacific). You should be in front of your equipment so that any suggestions given by the product specialist can be implemented immediately, and to hopefully avoid subsequent phone calls on the same issue. It's also helpful to be familiar with the operation of your product as well as any associated equipment used with your TASCAM product.
